Accountants, IFAs, solicitors and M&A advisers
Refer your clients with confidence. Every introduction is handled by a principal, and your relationship with your client is protected, not put at risk.
When you refer a client, you are lending them your judgement. We understand what that is worth, and we protect it.
Your client is advised by a principal, one of the two people who own the firm, from the first conversation to completion. They are never passed to a junior or a call centre. The advice they get is senior, and it is honest, including when the honest answer is that a deal does not stack up.
And we stay in our lane. We arrange the finance and hand the relationship back to you. We are not looking to cross-sell your client the services you already provide, or to become their adviser on anything but the funding you referred. When the work is done, your client is still your client, and they think more of you for the introduction.
We take introductions from the professionals whose clients need commercial finance.
The common thread is a client who needs finance done properly, and an adviser who wants to refer without worry.
Whose clients need funding to grow, to buy, or to steady cash flow, and who want a broker they can trust with the relationship.
Whose clients have commercial finance needs that sit outside their own remit.
Particularly on transactions where the funding has to come together to the same timetable as the legal work.
An area we are increasingly active in, where we arrange the debt and structure the funding alongside you, as part of the deal team.
There is no portal to learn and no process to work through. Introduce your client to us directly, or simply tell us about them, and we will take it from there. A principal picks it up, keeps you informed at the level you want, and does the work.
Where it fits, we operate a revenue share with introducers. It is agreed case by case, set out in a referral agreement between us, and where revenue is shared it is always declared to your client, openly and upfront. Nothing is hidden, which protects your relationship as much as it does ours.
Goodman Corporate Finance has arranged more than three billion pounds of commercial finance over more than twenty years, across every major product and sector. Paul Goodman, who will often be the principal handling your client, is a former Chair of the NACFB, the trade body for commercial finance brokers.
We are whole-of-market, we disclose every fee and commission before anything is signed, and the firm is run by the two people whose name is on the door. For an introducer, that means a referral partner who is senior, straight, and accountable, the qualities that make referring an easy decision.
Whether you have a client to introduce now, or you want to talk about referring to us as a matter of course, get in touch. It starts with a conversation, and your client is in senior hands from the first one.
