Long Eaton Rugby Club
We have been principal sponsor of Long Eaton Rugby Club for the last eight seasons. It is a large and thriving community club, the kind of place that gives a town somewhere to belong, from the youngest age groups through to the senior sides. Supporting it, season after season, is one of the things we are most glad to do.

The Long Eaton Business Partnership
Paul is a co-founder and co-chair of the Long Eaton Business Partnership, an initiative to regenerate the town centre by bringing its businesses together behind a shared plan. It is now in the process of becoming a Community Interest Company, and its approach has been noted at ministerial level as a potential model for other towns.
It is the firm's roots put to work: not writing about the future of the high street, but trying to rebuild one.

Paul served as Chair of CP Sport, the Nottingham-based national charity that helps people with cerebral palsy take part in sport and stay active. It is a cause close to us, and at our tenth anniversary dinner we raised ten thousand pounds for its work.

We have also raised funds for Forever Stars, a Nottingham charity that supports families through the loss of a baby. It has funded bereavement suites in the city's hospitals and a remembrance garden for the families it helps.

Scotty's Little Soldiers
We raise funds for Scotty's, the military bereavement charity founded by Nikki Scott after her husband, Corporal Lee Scott, was killed in Afghanistan. Once known as Scotty's Little Soldiers, it now supports anyone affected by military-connected bereavement. Paul has run the London Marathon for the charity, and will run it again in 2027, a cause close to us through our work with the forces community in Finance for Forces.
